- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (body length).
- Measure the widest point across your dog’s shoulders (width).
- Choose a size that gives your dog at least an extra 4–6 inches of length beyond their body length so they can lie stretched comfortably; add extra room if your dog likes to fully stretch or sleep sprawled.
- If your dog sleeps curled up and is between two size recommendations, pick the smaller size; if they stretch out, pick the larger size.
